West Shore is a neighbourhood within Pickering, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Commuting by car is especially convenient in this area. It is very easy to park, and many properties for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 401. On the other hand, the public transit network in West Shore is not especially accessible. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and it is very easy to find a nearby bus stop from most residences. Walking is not very convenient for residents in this part of the city as most daily needs are sometimes challenging to meet by walking. West Shore is also not very appropriate for cycling because there are very few bike lanes, and cyclists are faced with quite a few slopes.
