The neighbourhood of Woodlands is part of the city of Pickering, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great means of transportation in this neighbourhood. Most of the street infrastructure is conducive to cars, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit network in Woodlands is not particularly practical. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are typically nearby. Walking in this part of Pickering is not very popular, even though meeting day-to-day needs is convenient. It is also challenging to travel by bike in Woodlands because there is a considerable amount of elevation changes, and the bicycling network is not very well-developed.
