The neighbourhood of West Shore is part of the city of Pickering, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

West Shore is very car friendly. It is easy to park, and the majority of homes for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 401. On the other hand, travelling by public transit is difficult in West Shore. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. Cycling is convenient in West Shore. This part of the city is not especially convenient for those who travel by foot because carrying out daily needs is at times challenging by walking.

Services

A portion of house buyers in West Shore may be able to travel to the closest supermarket on foot, while others will have to rely on a vehicle. There are also a limited number of options for those who care about close by restaurants. As far as education is concerned, parents and their kids will welcome that no matter where their property is situated in this part of the city, primary schools and daycares are close by.
