Located within the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Sector J is a neighbourhood in Brossard, Quebec.

Transportation

The car is very often the best mode of transportation in sector J. It is very easy to come across a place to park, and many homes for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute de l'Acier. On the other hand, the public transit system in this part of the city is fairly poor. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. This area is not very conducive to biking as the cycling infrastructure is rather poor. Nonetheless, a few bike-friendly sectors exist, and bicycle riders do not face significant hills. This neighbourhood is also not very conducive to those who travel by foot since very few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

Families will value the proximity to daycares, which are within walking distance from most, if not all, homes for sale in this part of Brossard. On the other hand, sector J does not contain any primary schools or high schools. With regards to food, home buyers in this neighbourhood generally need a car to reach the closest supermarket.

Character

As there are very few people out and about on the streets, sector J is relatively calm. This part of the city features almost no greenery - but there are a few parks nearby for residents to explore.
