Part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Sector Y is a neighbourhood within Brossard, Quebec.

Transportation

This area is an extremely good part of Brossard for driving. It is a short drive to the closest highway, such as Autoroute des Cantons-de-l'Est, from any home in sector Y, and it is very easy to park. However, public transit users may experience very limited choices in this area due to the low service level. Walking is not very practical for house buyers in sector Y since very few daily errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle.

Services

This part of the city does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, daycares are not especially abundant and accordingly tend to require an extended walk to get to. As far as food is concerned, a portion of property owners in sector Y may have the option to purchase their groceries on foot, while others will need another means of transportation.

Character

Sector Y can be rather noisy, as traffic during busier hours of the day can occasionally be bothersome. Greenery is not very present in this part of the city, but residents will find that there are green spaces in nearby areas outside of the neighbourhood.
