Sherwood Estates is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred mode of transportation in Sherwood Estates is usually a car. Most houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, and parking is quite easy. In contrast, residents using public transit may experience limited choices in Sherwood Estates as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically very close. A majority of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are not very convenient for those who travel by foot because very few daily needs can be carried out on foot. Sherwood Estates is also not very suited for cycling since the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and there are a good number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists.
