Located within the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area, County Park is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Transportation

County Park is very car friendly. Parking is generally easy, and most homes for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway. In contrast, the public transit service in this part of Thunder Bay is not very frequent. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is usually just around the corner. County Park is not very convenient for walking since very few common errands can be run without the use of a car. On the other hand, this neighbourhood is quite conducive to biking.

Services

Daycares and primary schools are easy to walk to from anywhere in County Park. In contrast, there are no high schools in County Park. In terms of food, some, but not all, property owners in this part of Thunder Bay will reside within walking distance of the nearest supermarket. There are also a few choices for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes in close proximity.
