Part of the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area, Cherry Ridge is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Transportation

Getting around by car is very easy in this part of the city. The majority of houses for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway, and it is very convenient to come across a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in this area is fairly poor. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. It is challenging for pedestrians to move around in Cherry Ridge as very few common errands can be run on foot. The bicycle is a sometimes poor means of transportation in this neighbourhood as the area is not especially flat, and there are few bike lanes.

Services

It is a rather short walk to reach daycares and primary schools from most homes for sale in Cherry Ridge. On the other hand, Cherry Ridge does not have any high schools. With respect to eating, in vast majority cases, a vehicle is required to buy groceries. There are a few cafes in Cherry Ridge.
