Transportation

This area is an extraordinarily good part of Burlington for driving. It is a very short car ride to the closest highway, such as Highway 403, from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and coming across a parking spot is quite easy. The public transit system in this area is also reasonably good. More specifically, homeowners are served by the Burlington on the Lakeshore West. The neighbourhood is linked by approximately 10 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically very close. The bicycle is a fairly poor means of transportation in Freeman because there are few bike lanes. Nonetheless, a few bike-friendly sectors exist, and there are a limited number of slopes. Travelling by foot is also not very popular in Freeman, although running day-to-day errands is convenient by walking, and many businesses are close by.
