Transportation

Driving is usually the favoured mode of transportation in this area. Parking is easy, and the street network is quite well suited for cars. In contrast, the public transit service in Freeman is not particularly frequent. Nonetheless, house owners profit from the Burlington Station on the Lakeshore West Line. The neighbourhood is linked by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. Freeman is not particularly amenable to biking because there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave, and the cycling network is quite poor. Walking in Freeman is also not very common, although many daily needs can be met on foot.
