Although some bicycling-friendly sectors exist, this part of Burlington is not very suited for cycling because the topography is not especially flat, and the cycling network is rather limited. Travelling by foot is not very common in Freeman, even though many daily needs are easy to meet on foot, and various businesses are nearby.
