Panorama Village is a neighbourhood within West Vancouver, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in this part of West Vancouver. It is a very short car ride to the closest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, from any location in this neighbourhood, and it is very easy to access a place to park. On the other hand, commuting by transit can be difficult in this part of West Vancouver due to the low service level. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are generally nearby. It is inconvenient for pedestrians to navigate Panorama Village since many day-to-day needs are occasionally difficult to carry out without the use of a car. Bicycling is also difficult in this part of the municipality since the cycling infrastructure is rather poor, and cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of hills.

Services

Purchasing one's groceries usually necessitates the use of a car in Panorama Village. Residents of this neighbourhood are served by a few restaurants. When it comes to education, this area does not have any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, parents may find it very hard for their kids to reach daycares as a pedestrian.

Character

One of the highlights of Panorama Village is its wide variety of green spaces. There are a few parks close by for residents to discover and they are very well-distributed, which makes it very easy to access them. Since there are very few people out and about on the streets, this area is relatively serene.

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing about 40% of dwellings in Panorama Village, and the rest of the houses are mainly small apartment buildings and townhouses. About one third of properties in this area were built after the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s. This part of West Vancouver offers mainly two bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about 80% of the properties in the neighbourhood and the rest are rented.
