The neighbourhood of Cypress Provincial Park can be found in the municipality of West Vancouver, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great medium of transportation in Cypress Provincial Park. The city block layout is conducive to getting around by car, and the majority of homes for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway. In contrast, the public transit system in this part of West Vancouver is rather poor. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and it is very easy to get to a nearby bus stop from most properties. Walking is not very practical for house buyers in this part of West Vancouver because almost no common errands can be run without a car. Cypress Provincial Park is also not very conducive to cycling because bike riders are faced with a considerable amount of slopes, and the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive.

This area does not contain any high schools or primary schools. As far as eating is concerned, in all cases, a vehicle is required to buy groceries.

Character

One of the highlights of Cypress Provincial Park is its vast selection of green spaces. There are a few green spaces close by for residents to relax in, resulting in them being very easy to reach from a large number of locations within the neighbourhood. This neighbourhood is a wonderful area for those who don't mind a little noise, since traffic during busier hours of the day can occasionally be loud.

Housing

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing roughly 40% of buildings in Cypress Provincial Park, while large apartment buildings and small apartment buildings are the main alternatives in the housing stock. This neighbourhood offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy roughly 85% of the units in the neighbourhood whereas the remainder are rented. Around 45% of homes in this part of West Vancouver were built following the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s.
