The neighbourhood of King George Corridor is part of the city of Surrey, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is conducive to those who travel by foot; carrying out daily needs is easy by walking. In contrast, it is at times difficult to move around by bicycle in this part of the city because cyclists encounter a significant amount of elevation changes. Nevertheless, there are a good number of bike lanes. This neighbourhood is a very good part of Surrey for driving. Most real estate listings are a rather short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 99, and it is convenient to park. In contrast, the public transit system in this area is somewhat poor. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences.

Services

It is easy to get to the nearest supermarket on foot in this part of Surrey. A limited variety of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well. In terms of education, parents and their kids will value that wherever their house is located in King George Corridor, schools and daycares are nearby. Along with public schools, there are private primary and secondary schools.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a calm environment will enjoy King George Corridor. Green spaces, including Sunnyside Park and Peace Arch Park, are very well-distributed and there are about 20 of them nearby for residents to unwind in, resulting in them being easy to get to from the majority of locations within the neighbourhood. This part of Surrey is also reasonably good for those who need a quiet atmosphere, as the streets are usually tranquil - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially closer to Highway 99 or the railway line.
