Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, King George Corridor is a neighbourhood within Surrey, British Columbia.

Transportation

It is convenient for people walking to move around in King George Corridor; running common errands is convenient without needing a car. King George Corridor is also reasonably suited for biking because the cycling network is moderately well-developed. Driving is usually the favoured transportation option in this part of the city. It is easy to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 99. In contrast, residents using public transit may experience few choices in King George Corridor due to the infrequent service. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by around 10 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly very close by.

Services

It is very easy to get to the nearest supermarket on foot in this part of the city. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who care about close by restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, daycares and schools are convenient to access on foot from anywhere in this part of the city. Residents have the choice between public and private schools at both the primary and secondary school level.

Character

The character of King George Corridor is exemplified by its calm ambience. Public green spaces, such as Peace Arch Park and Sunnyside Park, are very well-spread out and there are approximately 20 of them nearby for residents to relax in, making them easy to access. This part of the city is also reasonably quiet, as the streets are generally calm - however noise can be bothersome closer to Highway 99 or the railway line.
