Most homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are also suitable for those who travel by foot; most daily needs are convenient to meet without having to use a vehicle, and numerous businesses are quite close by. Commuting by bicycle is convenient in Town Centre because there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Parents and their kids will welcome that wherever their home is located in this area, schools and daycares are nearby. In terms of food, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away in Town Centre. Furthermore, this neighbourhood is a fairly good place in which to eat out or go to a cafe.

Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere will enjoy Town Centre. This part of the city is quiet overall, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, parks are very easy to get to since there are approximately 10 of them close by for residents to explore.

Around half of dwellings are small apartment buildings, making it easy to find apartments in Town Centre, but large apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. This area offers mainly one bedroom and two bedroom homes. Around 60% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and 40% are renters. Roughly one third of homes in this part of the city were built after the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1960s and the 1980s.
