On the other hand, commuting by public transit is difficult in Cape Horn. Nevertheless, residents have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. Cape Horn is not very suited for biking because the cycling infrastructure is rather limited, and there is a considerable amount of elevation changes. Character

The character of Cape Horn is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. Accessing public green spaces is very easy in the neighbourhood since there are around 30 of them nearby for residents to explore. This area is also quiet, as the streets tend to be calm - however noise can be an issue closer to Trans-Canada Highway.

Housing

In Cape Horn, around 60% of dwellings are single detached homes, while duplexes are also present in the housing stock. About half of properties in this area were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This part of the city is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. About 80% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home whereas renters make up the remainder.
