Transportation

Finding a parking spot is easy, and it is a very short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Queen Elizabeth Way, from any home in Alderwood Industrial. The public transit network in this part of the city is quite convenient. In particular, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Walking in this part of the city is not very popular, despite the fact that many daily errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Alderwood Industrial is also not very suited for cycling as there are few bike lanes. Thankfully, the terrain is generally flat, and some pleasant sectors for cycling can be found.
