The neighbourhood of Etobicoke City Centre is part of the city of Toronto, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

No matter the means of transportation, it is fairly convenient to travel in this area. The transit access in Etobicoke City Centre is very good. In particular, rapid transit stations, including Kipling Station - Subway Platform, Dundas St / Billingham Rd and Islington Station - Westbound Platform with access to the Line 2 (Bloor - Danforth) and Meadowvale Express, are not very far from the majority of properties in the neighbourhood. Train stations, such as the Kipling with access to the Milton, are not particularly far away from most residences in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is connected by approximately 30 bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Etobicoke City Centre will also attract house buyers who want to be in a community that's walkable since it is pedestrian-friendly; running daily errands is easy without the use of a vehicle, and numerous businesses are fairly close by. The bike is a reasonably good means of transportation in this neighbourhood since the cycling network is rather extensive, and there are not many slopes to challenge bicycle riders.

Families will welcome that wherever their property is located in Etobicoke City Centre, daycares and schools are nearby. Families are served by public and private secondary schools. However, the tree canopy coverage for most streets is sub-par. Lastly, this neighbourhood has many areas that are very serene and quiet, although other spots can be noisy, especially closer to Highway 427, Queen Elizabeth Way, the railway line or the airport (Wilson`s Heliport).
