Part of the Greater Thunder Bay metropolitan area, Shuniah is a neighbourhood within Thunder Bay, Ontario.

Transportation

Cars are a fairly good transportation option in Shuniah. It is convenient to park. However, this area is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. It is at times difficult for people walking to navigate Shuniah as few daily needs can be carried out without the use of a car. However, it is convenient to get around by bicycle in this area.

Services

Both primary and secondary schools are convenient to walk to from anywhere in Shuniah. In contrast, parents may consider it challenging for their children to access daycares as a pedestrian. Regarding food, in all but a few cases, a vehicle is needed in Shuniah to reach the closest grocery store. There are also a few opportunities for those who appreciate restaurants within walking distance.

Character

Shuniah is great for those who prefer quiet areas, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
