Transportation

Brock Industrial is an extremely convenient part of Pickering for getting around by car. It is very easy to access a parking spot, and the majority of the street infrastructure is appropriate for driving. In contrast, Brock Industrial is not particularly transit friendly. Nevertheless, there is the Ajax with access to the Lakeshore East. There are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is usually just around the corner. Brock Industrial is not very appropriate for cycling since the bicycling network is not very comprehensive. Thankfully, a few bike-friendly pockets exist, and cyclists do not face serious elevation changes. Walking is also not very common in this part of the city, despite the fact that running daily errands is convenient on foot.
