The neighbourhood of Downtown Ajax is part of the town of Ajax, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The bicycle is a good means of transportation in this area. Travelling on foot is also quite feasible for house buyers in Downtown; carrying out daily needs is convenient, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. The public transit network in Downtown is not particularly accessible. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. However, cars are an excellent transportation option in Downtown. It is straightforward to park, and nearby highways are very easy to drive to from anywhere in this part of Ajax.

Services

Families will welcome the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from most, if not all, houses for sale in Downtown.
