The neighbourhood of Brock Industrial can be found in the city of Pickering, Ontario, which is located in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is very often the best method of transportation in this part of the city. Coming across a place to park is quite easy, and the street layout is reasonably amenable to driving. However, Brock Industrial is not an especially pleasant part of Pickering for travelling by public transit. Thankfully, there is the Ajax with access to the Lakeshore East. The neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to get to a nearby bus stop from most houses. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of Brock Industrial, although many day-to-day needs are convenient to meet on foot. Biking is also challenging in this neighbourhood because the cycling network is not very extensive. Nonetheless, biking is more feasible in some areas than others, and it is a flat ride to most locations.

Services

Schools and daycares are very easy to get to on foot from most properties for sale in Brock Industrial. When it comes to food, a supermarket is ordinarily reachable within a short walk from anywhere in this area. Furthermore, there is often a restaurant or cafe just around the corner. It is also easy to get to a number of clothing stores on foot.

Character

Brock Industrial is an excellent neighbourhood for those who don't mind some noise, since during busier hours of the day, traffic can occasionally be loud. Parks aren't well-distributed, which makes them very difficult to get to.

Housing

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing around 40% of dwellings in Brock Industrial, and the rest of the properties are mainly large apartment buildings and duplexes. Roughly one third of homes in this neighbourhood were constructed following the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1960s. This part of Pickering also has a good choice of unit sizes; it is quite easy to find houses ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms.
