This part of Markham is quite well-suited for walking; many daily needs can be met on foot. There are about 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is usually very close.

Getting to the closest supermarket on foot is practical for some, but not all, house buyers in this neighbourhood. Conversely, Unionville is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and residents are served by a few cafes as well. Regarding education, it is a reasonably short walk to access schools and daycares from anywhere in Unionville.

This neighbourhood is also reasonably good for those who need a quiet atmosphere, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case closer to Highway 407 or the railway line.
