Transportation

Physically active property owners will enjoy the reasonably pedestrian-friendly nature of Markville; many daily needs can be met on foot. On the other hand, Markville is not especially appropriate for biking since there are a good number of hills, and the bicycling infrastructure is somewhat poor. The public transit system in Markville is not especially convenient. Nonetheless, the nearest train station, such as the Centennial Station on the Stouffville Line, is usually within walking distance from the bulk of residences in the neighbourhood. Property owners profit from Hwy 7 / McCowan and Hwy 7 / Bullock on the purple | VIVA PURPLE. There are about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. On the other hand, moving around by car is very convenient in this neighbourhood. It is straightforward to find a place to park, and nearby highways are reasonably easy to drive to from any home in Markville.
