Transportation

It is easy for pedestrians to get around in Unionville; many common errands can be run without a vehicle. The bicycle is a good means of transportation in this neighbourhood. The car is very often the preferred transportation option in Unionville. Nearby highways, such as Highway 407, are rather easy to drive to from any location in Unionville, and it is convenient to park. In contrast, the transit network in this neighbourhood is rather poor. Nevertheless, there is the Unionville on the Stouffville. It is convenient to come across a nearby rapid transit station, including Hwy 7 / Town Centre, Highway 7 / Village Pkwy and Highway 7 / Kennedy Rd with access to the Viva Purple, from the bulk of houses in the neighbourhood. There are around 10 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close by.
