Devil's Elbow is a neighbourhood within Markham, Ontario, which is situated in the Greater Toronto Area metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured way to move around in this part of the city is usually a car. Parking is generally easy, and nearby highways are easy to reach from any location in this area. On the other hand, getting around by public transit is difficult in Devil's Elbow. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. Devil's Elbow is not especially suited for bicycling because there are a limited number of bike lanes, and the topography is not particularly flat. Walking is also not very feasible for house buyers in Devil's Elbow as very few daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

There are only a very small number of primary schools in Devil's Elbow and accordingly they can be a very long walk away. In addition, this part of Markham does not contain any high schools. In this part of Markham, the vast majority of dwellings are single detached homes, while small apartment buildings make up most of the remaining housing stock. Most of the housing growth in this neighbourhood has occurred after the year 2000. This area is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
