Transportation

Rockway is an extremely good part of Kitchener for getting around by car. It is especially convenient to find a place to park, and the majority of homes for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway, such as Highway 7. In contrast, public transit riders may have few options in Rockway due to the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of Rockway, even though meeting daily needs is convenient by walking. It is also challenging to commute by bike in this part of the city because cyclists are faced with a considerable amount of slopes, and the bicycling network is rather poor.
