Transportation

Driving is a great transportation option in this part of Kitchener. Nearby highways are reasonably easy to access from anywhere in this area, and parking is quite easy. On the other hand, Country Hills East is not an especially pleasant part of Kitchener for getting around by public transit. Nevertheless, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close. Travelling by foot in this area is not very common, despite the fact that most daily needs are easy to carry out without the use of a vehicle. In contrast, it is easy to get around by bicycle in Country Hills East since there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

In this neighbourhood, parents and their children will generally be able to reach both primary and secondary schools on foot. In contrast, daycares are not especially numerous and thus not always within walking distance.
