Transportation

Driving is a very good transportation option in Rural Markham. It is straightforward to park. However, Rural Markham is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by approximately 10 bus lines, and it is very easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. Cycling is at times difficult in Rural Markham since the cycling infrastructure is somewhat poor, and there are a fair number of slopes. Nevertheless, some bike-friendly sectors can be found. It is also impractical for pedestrians to move around in this part of Markham since very few daily needs can be carried out on foot.

Families will find that wherever their property is situated in Rural Markham, primary schools are close by. In contrast, this part of the city does not have any high schools.
