Transportation

This neighbourhood will appeal to homeowners that value various means of transportation. The public transit system in this part of the city is reasonably good thanks to Hwy 7 / Main Markham on the purple | VIVA PURPLE, and around 10 nearby bus lines. Travelling on foot is also quite practical for residents in this part of the city; many day-to-day errands can be run without needing to resort to a vehicle. Cycling is sometimes difficult in this area as there are quite a few hills, and the bicycling network is fairly poor.

Services

Families will welcome the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from most, if not all, houses for sale in Old Markham Village. With regards to food, the nearest grocery store in this part of the city is usually only a rather short walk away. Furthermore, Old Markham Village is a good place in which to eat out, and property owners benefit from a few cafes as well.
