In contrast, the transit infrastructure in Buttonville is not very accessible. Nonetheless, rapid transit stations, including Hwy 7 / Montgomery, Hwy 7 / Woodbine and Hwy 7 / Allstate with access to the Viva Purple, are usually within walking distance from the majority of properties in the neighbourhood. There are a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally very close by. Traveling by walking in this neighbourhood is not very common, although meeting daily needs is convenient without a vehicle. However, bicycling is easy in Buttonville.
