The community of Onslow is part of the subdivision of a county municipality of Colchester Subdivision B, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Truro metropolitan area.

Transportation

The favoured method to move around in Onslow is usually a car. It is very convenient to park, and most properties for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 104. Onslow is not very well-suited for those who travel by foot since running common errands is very difficult by walking.
