Rocky Lake is a neighbourhood within Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

The preferred method to get around in Rocky Lake is very often a car. It is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway from anywhere in this neighbourhood, and it is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. In contrast, residents using public transit may experience limited choices in this neighbourhood due to the infrequent service. Nonetheless, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly very close by. Rocky Lake is not particularly conducive to those who prefer to get around on foot because few daily errands can be run without the use of a car.
