Transportation

This part of Halifax is particularly car friendly. It is very convenient to come across a place to park, and nearby highways are easy to access from any home in Ridgevale. On the other hand, this neighbourhood is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, house owners have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily around the corner. Ridgevale is not very bike-friendly as the bicycling network is not very extensive, and riding is rendered strenuous by the typically sloping topography. Most houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for people who like to travel on foot as very few daily errands can be run without a vehicle.

Services

When it comes to food, a fraction of house buyers in Ridgevale may have the option to shop for their groceries by foot, while others will have to use another means of transportation.

Character

Home buyers who prefer a slower-paced atmosphere will enjoy Ridgevale. This area is very quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, accessing public green spaces is easy in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in.
