The neighbourhood of Sunnydale is part of the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the municipality is very car friendly. It is very easy to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway. On the other hand, the public transit access in Sunnydale is rather poor. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. The bike is a rather limited method of transportation in this part of the municipality as bicycling is rendered arduous by the often sloping area, and there are few bike lanes. Walking is also not especially practical for house buyers in Sunnydale as few daily errands can be run without the need to use a vehicle.
