Transportation

Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in this part of Halifax. Nearby highways are easy to reach from anywhere in Ridgevale, and it is especially convenient to find a place to park. However, this area is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, residents benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby. This part of Halifax is not very conducive to those who travel by foot because carrying out daily needs is impractical by walking. Biking is also difficult in Ridgevale because this area has a rather poor cycling infrastructure, and bicycling is made strenuous by the typically sloping area.

Services

It is a rather short walk to reach primary schools from anywhere in Ridgevale. However, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools. As far as food is concerned, reaching the nearest grocery store on foot is possible for some, but not all, property owners in Ridgevale.
