Transportation

Brookvale is especially car friendly. Accessing a parking spot is easy. It is very difficult for people walking to navigate Brookvale because almost no daily errands can be run on foot. Brookvale is also not very appropriate for biking because the bicycling infrastructure is quite poor, and there are a fair number of slopes.

Services

There are only a very small number of high schools in Brookvale and thus they can be a very long walk away. Additionally, this part of Halifax does not have any primary schools. In terms of food, it is very rarely feasible for house buyers in Brookvale to purchase groceries by walking.

Character

Brookvale is great for those who like quiet surroundings, as there are low levels of noise from traffic. Parks aren't well-spread out, which results in them being very hard to get to from the majority of locations within this area.
