The community of South Section can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in South Section. Parking is easy. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of the municipality are located in areas that are not very well-suited for pedestrians because almost no day-to-day errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle. South Section is also not very amenable to bicycling because there are very few bike lanes, and there are a good number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists.
