The community of South Section can be found in the municipality of Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is situated in the Greater Halifax metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in South Section. Parking is easy. A majority of the houses for sale in this part of the municipality are located in areas that are not very well-suited for pedestrians because almost no day-to-day errands can be run without needing to use a vehicle. South Section is also not very amenable to bicycling because there are very few bike lanes, and there are a good number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists.

Services

There are no high schools and no primary schools in this part of Halifax. As far as food is concerned, it is very rarely feasible for house buyers in South Section to travel to the nearest grocery store as pedestrians.

Home buyers who prefer a relaxed atmosphere will enjoy South Section. South Section is very quiet, as there are generally low levels of noise from traffic. Green spaces aren't well-distributed, which makes them very hard to access.
