For nearly 50 years our home had been in our family. It was not merely a house but our home! Many milestones were enjoyed there, from birthdays and anniversaries, Christmas, graduations and retirement parties. Our family loved living there, however when age and mobility became too much for my aging parents, we were faced with the reality of letting it go. My mother’s wish as she left her home for the last time was to find a family that would be good stewards of the house and property and to make it their home too. She hoped that a new generation would make their own memories there, love and cherish it as much as we did for almost half a century!Elliott Haatvedt was one of many realtors from a variety of agents recommended to us. He had an offer from the buyer’s agent in hand and he provided critical advice in order to proceed. We sold our home to a family who we know will cherish it as much as we did and we sold it for the price we wanted. The closing was seamless and Elliott continued to offer assistance throughout the process.
