Jamie inspired confidence from the first meeting. He did not overpromise; he presented a realistic set of expectations and range of possible/probable outcomes. He made excellent suggestions on how to prepare the house without blowing the budget. As a result, the house was in such a professionally prepared state, backed by an excellent marketing/sales plan, that even though the first day of listing was during a storm, there was a flood of showings on day 1 and an even greater number on day 2. The sheer number of showings signaled that there was a very high demand for the property because it showed well BUT also because it was priced appropriately based on neighbourhood recent sales and the current demand in that area. In other words, Jamie's research and plan was perfectly executed. He and his team communicated frequently and clearly and Jamie was easily accessible. The result was an overwhelming success for us (and the buyer, who purchased a great home). I highly recommend Jamie Dempster Realty Group. If/when there is another home to list or purchase, Jamie will be the first person I will call.

It was important to my husband and myself to feel comfortable with the agent we would be working with. Free to express our desires and concerns as well as keep us informed as to what was happening out in the market, not someone who would have us sign papers and disappear never to be heard from until an offer was presented. Jamie was referred to us by a family member who had dealt with him on another house sale. He was impressed with Jamie's ability to negotiate and understand people's needs. We found Jamie to be very professional and personable and we were very impressed that he was always available via text/email/phone. He was prompt with responses to our inquiries and in rare situations where he was unavailable he always notified us in advance and had alternate reliable contacts available. Jamie was also understanding that we had young children and really did his best to work around our schedule. He made sure that we were inconvenienced as little as possible during the buying and selling process. On the buying side, he was very knowledgeable about assessing the quality of the homes we were considering, what the real value of the home would be and what homes we would be successful bidding at within our budget. For the home we purchased, Jamie had a good sense of what offer would ensure our success. Jamie's negotiation skills on offer night were amazing and it was great to know that he was in our corner to help us get the home we loved. We had looked at several homes, but he was great at guiding us to make sure we didn't go through a series of unsuccessful bids and feel disheartened. He has a unique talent in being able to really get to know what the buyer wants/needs, even when weren't sure ourselves! On the selling side, he had an effective and unique marketing strategy and he helped us to present our property so that it attracted the most showings, resulting in valuable offers. He was in constant communication with us during the showing period and he really took the time to encourage us and support us when we were feeling nervous. The buying and selling process can be stressful and Jamie's solid real estate knowledge, excellent negotiation skills and friendly respectful nature really helped to make this such a positive experience for us! We would highly recommend Jamie to our family and friends and will certainly ask him again to help us with our next home purchase and sale.

Jamie Dempster handled purchase of a new house and sale of our current house: ------------ Purchase: Excellent use of technology with Collab (way better than regular realtor.ca), Whatsapp and e-signatures. This allowed us (with our two small kids) to find and target an area in the insane GTA market. Jamie went doorknocking hitting up the neighborhood. Eventually a listing came up and we went in successfully winning against a few other offers. ------------- Sale: Jamie's strategy was accommodating of our needs as a family, yet aggressive and in the end, very effective. His recommendations, demeanor and tactics made it all as painless as possible, and in the end set a record for the sale. Exceeded my expectations by far. (I also include his team in this, e.g. the stagers) ------------- On a more personal level, he had some very significant events in his family life during this time, and yet at no time did we feel left in a lurch. Nor did we ever get the feeling that he was putting work before family, because honestly a factor in who we have representing us is that we would like that person to have similar values, and Jamie demonstrated good character in numerous ways. I'm quite happy to be paying him for a job very well done. ------------- On a final note, we were happy from start to finish, so I recommended him to my brother for his upcoming purchase and sale as well.
