Transportation

The best approach to get around in Chartwell is very often driving. The majority of houses for sale are a very short car ride from the closest highway, such as Taylor Offramp Way, and it is very convenient to find a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit service in Chartwell is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. Walking is not very practical for residents in Chartwell as few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. It is also difficult to get around by bicycle in Chartwell as there are few bike lanes, and riding is rendered difficult by the typically hilly topography.

Services

Parents and their kids will appreciate that wherever their property is located in Chartwell, both primary and secondary schools are nearby. This neighbourhood experienced its main construction boom between 1960 and 1980, so most of the available housing stock is from this era. There is a higher proportion of four or more bedroom homes in this area.
