This area is convenient for people who prefer to get around on foot; many daily errands can be run without needing a vehicle. This neighbourhood is also rather cycling-friendly. Moving around by car is very convenient in Sentinel Hill. It is easy to park, and most homes for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Taylor Offramp Way. On the other hand, getting around by transit can be difficult in Sentinel Hill due to the infrequent service. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is usually around the corner.

Families will appreciate that wherever their property is situated in Sentinel Hill, daycares and primary schools are nearby. In contrast, there are no high schools in this area.
