The neighbourhood of Sunnyside Park is part of the city of Surrey, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

A majority of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in places that are quite well-suited for those who travel by foot; many common errands can be run without needing to resort to a car. This neighbourhood is also quite bike-friendly because the cycling infrastructure is reasonably good. The public transit service in Sunnyside Park is not especially frequent. Nonetheless, there are around 10 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. On the other hand, the best transportation option in Sunnyside Park is often a car. Parking is easy.

Services

In this area, parents and their kids will typically be able to access daycares and schools on foot. Families can choose between public and private schools at both the elementary and secondary school level. As far as food is concerned, reaching the closest grocery store on foot is practical for some, but not all, house buyers in this part of the city. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

Character

Sunnyside Park is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. The noise levels in this part of Surrey are very low, as the streets are generally very calm. Lastly, getting to public green spaces, like South Surrey Athletic Park and Sunnyside Lawn Cemetery, is very easy from a large number of locations in the neighbourhood since there are about 40 of them close by for residents to visit.

Housing

This area has a good selection of unit sizes, ranging from lofts to four or more bedrooms. Around three quarters of the population of this neighbourhood own their home while the rest are renters.
