Transportation

Driving is a very good medium of transportation in Shellmont. Nearby highways, such as Highway 99, are reasonably easy to access from anywhere in this part of the city, and it is easy to find a parking spot. In contrast, the public transit system in Shellmont is not very accessible. Thankfully, there are approximately 10 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Biking is convenient in Shellmont since there are few elevation changes to challenge cyclists. This area is not especially well-suited for walking as few daily needs can be carried out on foot.

Services

Getting to the nearest supermarket by walking is possible for some, but not all, property owners in this part of Richmond. Residents benefit from about 30 restaurants and cafes as well. Concerning education, it is a rather short walk to access daycares and schools from most properties for sale in Shellmont.
