It is especially convenient to find a parking spot, and nearby highways, such as Nanaimo Parkway, are quite easy to access from anywhere in Five Acres. In contrast, getting around by public transit is challenging in this part of Nanaimo. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. This part of Nanaimo is not very suitable for those who travel by foot since running common errands is sometimes challenging.
