Transportation

Getting around by car is very convenient in Five Acres. The majority of real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, such as Nanaimo Parkway, and accessing a place to park is generally easy. On the other hand, the public transit network in this neighbourhood is fairly poor. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally very close. Travelling on foot is not especially practical for home buyers in Five Acres since many day-to-day needs are at times difficult to carry out without the use of a car. However, commuting by bicycle is easy in this neighbourhood as there are a fair number of bike lanes.

Services

Parents and their children will find that wherever their house is located in Five Acres, schools and daycares are close by. As far as eating is concerned, a supermarket is usually reachable within a short walk from any home in this neighbourhood. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who care about close by restaurants and cafes.
