Townsite is a neighbourhood within Nanaimo, British Columbia, which is located in the Greater Nanaimo metropolitan area.

Transportation

A majority of the homes for sale in this area are located in places that are reasonably well-suited for walking; many common errands can be run on foot. Cars are a good transportation option in Townsite. It is easy to park. However, travelling by transit can be difficult in Townsite as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically just around the corner.

Services

It is straightforward to get to the nearest supermarket on foot from most houses for sale in this neighbourhood. A limited variety of restaurants and cafes is available as well. As far as education is concerned, in this part of the city, parents and their schoolchildren will usually be able to access schools and daycares on foot.

Character

The character of Townsite is exemplified by its calm ambience. Many locations within the neighbourhood have good access to public green spaces, including Bowen Park, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to enjoy.
