Part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area, Eagle Harbour is a neighbourhood within West Vancouver, British Columbia.

Transportation

The car is usually the best method to move around in Eagle Harbour. Most homes for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and it is especially convenient to find a place to park. However, the public transit service in Eagle Harbour is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. Cycling is sometimes challenging in this area as Eagle Harbour is home to a fairly poor bicycling infrastructure, and there are quite a few elevation changes. Thankfully, some pleasant pockets for bicycling exist. Travelling on foot is also not very feasible for residents in Eagle Harbour since running daily errands is very difficult on foot.

Services

House buyers in Eagle Harbour typically need a vehicle to do their groceries. In terms of education, parents and their children will value that no matter where their property is located in this part of West Vancouver, primary schools and daycares are close by. On the other hand, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools.

Character

The character of Eagle Harbour is exemplified by its slower-paced atmosphere. There are around 10 green spaces nearby for residents to unwind in, which makes them easy to get to. Most areas in this area are quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although there are still several louder sections, especially near the railway line, Trans-Canada Highway or Highway 99.
