Lake City is a neighbourhood within Burnaby, British Columbia, which is located in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in Lake City. Parking is quite easy. Thanks to Production Way - University Station on the Expo Skytrain and Millennium Skytrain, and a few nearby bus lines, home buyers can also rely on public transit to get around in this part of Burnaby. Lake City is not very conducive to walking since running daily errands is inconvenient. Biking is also at times challenging in this area as bicycling is made strenuous by the typically steep topography. Nonetheless, Lake City has a reasonably good bicycling infrastructure.

Services

Parents and their children will value that wherever their home is located in Lake City, daycares and primary schools are nearby. In contrast, there are no high schools in this area. Regarding eating, some, but not all, property owners in Lake City will reside within walking distance of the closest grocery store. There are also a few restaurants and cafes in this part of the city.

Character

The character of Lake City is exemplified by its slower-paced environment. This neighbourhood is reasonably quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic.
