Part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Little Italy is a neighbourhood within Montréal, Quebec.

Transportation

This part of the city is an excellent neighbourhood with respect to getting around without driving. Physically active property owners will enjoy the very pedestrian-friendly character of Little Italy; meeting daily needs is very easy, and there are also a fair number of businesses in proximity. Riding a bicycle is very prevalent in this part of Montréal because a bike share station can usually be found close by, and the cycling infrastructure is well-developed. The public transit system in Little Italy is very practical by reason of a few nearby bus lines. In contrast, driving is a sometimes poor means of transportation in Little Italy. Nonetheless, it is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from any location in Little Italy.

Boulevard Saint-Laurent in particular offers a vast selection of bars.

This part of Montréal is primarily composed of two bedroom and one bedroom homes. About 70% of the population of this neighbourhood rent their home and the rest are owners.
